Pine wood

Pine wood
Pine wood comes from pine trees belonging to the Pinaceae family. Pines are widely distributed in the northern hemisphere, and wood obtained from these trees is often used in various applications. Pine wood is relatively soft compared to other tree species such as oak or ash. This wood is light, which facilitates its processing. It is easy to cut and polish, making it popular in carpentry and furniture making. Although it is soft, pine wood is quite durable but less resistant to damage and abrasion than harder wood species. The natural colour of pine wood varies from light yellow to pale brown. It has a clear grain, and in some species there are characteristic snags.
