A peephole is a small device or structural element that is placed inside the front door. It allows a person inside the building to see the space outside the door without having to open it. It is used mainly for security reasons, allowing the identification of the visitor. Today, not only traditional but also electronic peepholes, equipped with cameras and displays, are installed.
