Casement window – what does it look like

casement window consists of two independent window frames which are placed one after the other within the same casement (hence the name). The casement is integrated into the wall of the building. Window frames can be moved vertically up and down. The upper and the lower parts of the window often can be opened independently, allowing for effective ventilation.
Traditional casement windows are divided into smaller panes separated by mullions. These can be large panes or numerous smaller panes arranged in a grid pattern.
