Hinged interior doors or sliding doors – a decision that can ensure comfort
Interior doors are indispensable elements in the house. They separate and connect rooms, but they can also become designer pieces of equipment. Below we analyze the main systems for opening interior doors.

Hinged interior doors

Among all the types of openings for interior doors, hinged is the most traditional and widely used. It is a system based on the rotation of side hinges, which allows you to open the door outwards (English style) or inwards (French style). It is an excellent choice for those who do not have problems with space or do not want to install another type of model. The pendulum hole can be adjusted both right and left to meet different buyers' requirements.

When choosing hinged interior doors, it is worth remembering that the style of the door also counts. They are often treated as an element that does not constitute the décor of the apartment. In fact, the door can be a decoration of the room. Today, hinged interior doors are available in almost any color and style.

Sliding interior doors

The best solution as an alternative to traditional doors are sliding doors. This type of opening is ideal for those who have limited space and need to gain precious centimeters. In this case, in fact, the opening movement is based on a rail guide, which allows you to move the door, which can disappear into the recess formed in the wall itself or move parallel to the wall.

There are two types of sliding doors on the market. With cassette and external guides. For the first type, it is necessary to carry out masonry work so that the casket (and then the door) can be hidden in the walls. Therefore, this type of interior door is installed at the stage of building a house. In the case of the second model, the door "goes out" to the outside of the wall after special guides mounted above, under or above and below it. Therefore, it is a choice that involves lower costs and shorter assembly time.

In both cases, sliding doors are a very practical and functional choice that saves space and creates a lighter and more dynamic environment. This type of interior doors is also made of various materials and finishes.
